Quick Search for Poconos Ski Resorts And Hotel Availability:
The sport that brings the most people to the Poconos is skiing (or snowboarding). For those who do not ski, but enjoy outdoor snow activities, we now have thousands of people who snow tube each year. Camelback Mountain is the area's largest ski and tubing resort, with Shawnee and Jack Frost tied for a close second. Blue Mountain has the highest vertical and the longest run, but does not have as many slopes as some of the others and is harder to get to than all of the others. Accommodations are scarce slopeside at any resort and most visitors stay in a nearby hotel or inn. Below is an insider's guide by a former VP at one of the ski resorts.
